Hi there! “please allow me to introduce myself…”

I am Alexis Feist, a mother, a wife and a woman with an enormous passion for life. I cherish all of the special moments that life brings us. From milestone events to tiny intimate details that make everyday of our lives unique.

Through photography I have discovered an ability to capture these magical moments so that we are able to relive, share, and always cherish them. Whether it be a groom watching his bride walk down the aisle towards him, the look of wonder in a newborn’s eyes, the uncontrollable laughter that erupts between siblings, or the secret look an expecting mother wears on her glowing face. I am honoured and feel privileged to capture these moments.

Having an eclectic and vibrant personality, I am always up for a new challenge and find joy in the discovery. During any photography session I am usually found crouching down , standing on my tip-toes, or tucking into a corner to find that perfect lighting, angle, and perspective. When that magical photo is captured I giggle with excitement or wipe a tear from my eye. I absolutely love what I do and I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to do it.

I wouldn’t be completely honest if I didn’t mention my true passion that encompasses who I am: dance. Without dance I wouldn’t be a photographer, nor would I have the creative eye that I do today. Photography went beyond being a hobby when the photos I captured in the dance studio started getting recognition. When the opportunity to pursue photography professionally presented itself, I didn’t hesitate to dive in!

Lastly, here are some things you may not know about me…

I have an obsession for leopard print – note the website background. I am rocker a.k.a a “metal head.” I love throwing an epic theme party, which usually includes a photo booth!
